My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tico was purchased from a breeder when he was pups for the owner's daughter. But ever since the daughter went off to college, Tico has been left neglected.

Tico(Miniature Poodle/7 yrs old/18 lbs/Male) is a sweet dog, but he is very frustrated with the lack of TLC and exercise at the moment. He started expressing his frustration through few behavioral indicators, such as marking and barking. However, we observed that he is very smart and receptive to commands, so we believe his behavior will quickly turn around once he is placed in a proper, accommodating environment. We are searching for a loving and patient family who will minimize the time Tico is left alone, and who will work on giving him the exercise and training he needs.
Tico is UTD on his shots and is neutered. His #adoption fee is $350.

*They are currently in Springfield, VA. If you would like to #adopt him, please fill out our online application at https://sites.google.com/view/donghaepaws/. An HDP volunteer will reach out for more information after a careful review of your application. Please understand this may take few days. Thank you!
*** We typically do not adopt to homes with children under 8 years old. A home check is mandatory before adoption.

We adopt to residents of Northern VA and Washington DC suburbs only.

*** About us ***
Hope For Donghae Paws(HDP) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to bringing rescue dogs from Korea to the US and finding permanent homes for them. It is true there are many animal lovers in Korea, but still many dogs suffer and are killed for food.
Our mission is to find US homes for mixed-breed dogs whose chances of being adopted in their native Korea are very low.
