Hope holds a very special place in our hearts. We first rescued her from the local kill shelter. She was covered in hundreds of ticks, she couldn't walk because her feet were covered. She had a broken jaw, that had healed, so her face is a little crooked, but precious still. She had kennel cough, and was scared of her own shadow. We've worked with her so much, and she's come such a long way. She adores other dogs and animals, and has the most loving, cuddly disposition. My husband and I each have a dog, and we don't have the time we thought we would. Even though we give her as much attention as we can, we know it still isn't enough for her. Even though she has accidents inside sometimes, she'll wait at the door most times, and she knows to go potty and come right back. She loves water, and the park. She loves water bottles and toys that make the crinkly sound. This is so painful, but we want only what is best for our Hopey. We hope someone out there can give her exactly what she needs.
