Landlord permission issues

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I got him from an ASPCA but unfortunately, the landlord isn't allowing dogs on the property. He does do the typical dog things like chase cats and bark at the mailman. He is good with kids and other adults. He's a good indoor dog may have to retrain him once you get him only because he's used to one place here and at another house may be another issue. He's very excited once you walk towards the door and loves to put his paws on your leg but once you tell him down he gets down. He loves going on walks. The kennel said he had an issue with smaller dogs but we have encountered a few smaller dogs and he was fine with them didn't attack nor bark at them. He does get a little timid while walking and something scares him. Other than that he's a very good dog. Wish I could keep him but I cant.
