Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Handsome Hal is a 33.3-pound Terrier mix and this volunteer wishes there was a "Bengie" breed because she doesn't have a clue what he is other than "Terrier." Like little "Spunky," Hal, named for Halloween because that's when he showed up, has been at a vet clinic in a neighboring county for two months and his time is up, so we've been asked to help. This is what we're told about him by the clinic staff: "We estimate his age to be around 2-3 yrs. He is black and rust in color, his coat has a soft wiry texture. He is friendly and submissive. He has a very sweet personality, loves to snuggle. Hal gets a long with other dogs well and seems fine with cats, at least doesn't seem to bother them. The ones he's been exposed to have all been in cages." (The picture of him standing up with that big smile was one of him leaning against a child whose face we didn't think we needed to show.) Please contact us if you're interested in meeting this handsome fellow. (CASA will see that the same vet services as usual -- neuter, heart-worm test, rabies and distemper-series vaccinations and deworming -- are done prior to adoption.)
