UPDATED BIO 01-14-09: FL Buddy is a 4 y/o yorkie who weighs a chubby 16# now; he would be a much healthier weight if he weighed only 11-12#, and his Foster Parents are working on that. He is being fostered in Boynton Beach, FL. Buddy is a very good, sweet yorkie boy. Foster Mom has him on a weight management food and he loves going on his 2 l-o-n-g daily walks for exercise. His housetraining is going well and FM says he is almost 100% housetrained. Buddy gets along with everyone and everypuppy. Buddy is a little boy you can take just about anywhere.....he is a real "people" dog - he doesn't really care if other dogs are present - he mostly has a very strong attachment to people; for this reason, Buddy's perfect home would either be as an only dog or perhaps one other dog in the home. He really likes to cuddle; at night he will cuddle with his person before sleep; but when he is ready to go ni-night, he'll gets off the bed and prefers to sleep in his own bed on the floor. Buddy will roam at night to check everything out; after all, he wants his family safe and he will bark if he hears unusual sounds in the night.
He loves car rides and he is a great companion in the car. In fact, he begs for car rides every time he is walked past the car in the driveway. He stays in his seat and enjoys the scenery and he gets out when you tell him "let's go!" Buddy loves being outdoors, but he wants his person out there with him since he will start to worry if you're not outside, too. What a great little dog!
INITIAL BIO 12-30-08: Florida Buddy is a 4 y/o yorkie who weighs a chubby 17#; he would be a much healthier weight if he weighed only 11-12#, and his Foster Parents are working on that. Buddy was surrendered by his owner's family because his beloved owner is no longer able to care for him. He is really sweet and loves to give kisses; Buddy wants to be with his person all the time. Buddy adores being outside and going on long walks. He is very obedient and will do whatever is asked of him. He is housetrained and will let you know when he needs to go out by barking and running to the door. Buddy gets along well with other dogs and he also gets along with cats. His perfect placement would be in a home as an only dog or with other another doggie companion. Buddy can also be placed in a home with children older than 10 y/o. Florida Buddy is looking for his own Buddy - could that be you?
