How about those Houston Astros! Like his namesake, Orbit is full of personality just waiting to be let out to be a star! He and his brother, Astro, were found alone on the side of a rural road. It was late in the day and no one could take to a shelter or keep. They were in such bad shape, extremely emaciated and dehydrated, we had to help them out. Just a month later, these boys have packed on enough weight, are finishing up their vetting, and will be ready to go!
Orbit is a fun-loving, playful pup just full of bubbly puppy love to give! Weighing in at only 25-30 lbs and is only 7-8months of age, he will stay a smaller guy as he and his brother are some type of cattle dogs and maybe a little Basenji. Unlike his brother, Orbit is not shy and happily approaches just about everything and everyone! He loves to give kisses, get his back and ears scratched, and he loves a tennis ball! He REALLY loves to play in the pools and enjoys splashing with his friend, Nymeria! He loves to sit in your lap and cuddle, or give cute quick puppy kisses before scurrying off to play with his ball or his pals.
Since he is a young pup, learning and working with him should be a breeze. He gets along well with other dogs once he knows they are friendly. He can be a little nervous or shy at first, since all he knew was his brother, but once they've met, he's a new BFF! Orbit doesn't mind his kitty foster siblings and has been gentle since day one with them, and shares his bed with them when they lay with him. he's a sweet little guy, and since he is a younger pup, his training should be simple, quick and easy to implement in a new home with a new family.
Orbit is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.He is ready for his new life and home just in time for Christmas!
