Nala is in a foster home in Memphis TN. SHE LOVES TO FETCH! Nala is a 4mo female lab mix puppy who was abandoned with her littermates in rural MS. This pup lives in the house with her foster family where she's lovingly cared for while awaiting her forever home. Happy, playful, outgoing puppy! Full of fun and life, very confident and never meets a stranger. Well-socialized, has grown up around kids, cats and other dogs. Recommended for children 6 years and older. Instruction has begun with crate training, housebreaking and leash walking. Estimated DOB 5/1/13. Loves to fetch and has webbed feet! Weighs about 35 pounds, healthy, altered and utd on shots. Nala is an adorable puppy and quite the charmer. She loves receiving affection, and on most evenings, she can be found in her foster mother's lap quietly soaking up attention. She was an expert at fetch even when she was a tiny pup, bringing a tennis ball right back to her foster mom's hand. Her toes are webbed practically out to the toenail, so a future was a water dog is on the horizon. She is content to be at her foster mom's feet snoozing (one of her favorite things), or chewing one of her toys. And she does love toys. She even picked out her own at the pet store. She gets along great with other dogs (see the video of little Nala playing with her foster sister). She's crated at night where she remains quiet from bedtime until about 6:30 a.m. This is an adorable puppy with a happy, loving temperament who will make a great companion for an active family with kids. Here's a note from her foster mom: I adore Nala. From the moment she first let me hold her like a baby, she had my heart (BTW, she still loves to be held like a baby!). She's a beautiful little girl, and very distinct-looking with her pink nose and lips (which are mottled black, making it look like she's wearing black lipstick!). She's a little clown. She loves to play with her toys, and she really likes to play fetch. We've been to the dog park a few times where she acted very age appropriate. And she loves my own two dogs. My younger dog plays with her a lot, so she's very used to having another dog to play with. That being said, she'd probably do fine as an only-dog because she is very oriented to me. I have no doubt that her strong attachment to me will allow her to bond strongly with her forever family. Nala will make a wonderful addition to an active family.

We know each of the animals entrusted to our care by name and we will be happy to tell you all about the personality and little quirks that make each animal so loved. Our adoption fee for a dog is $100 and that covers all shots and vetting and spay/neuter. Our animals are fully vetted before we send them off to their new family.
