My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

PRECIOUS had a wonderful home and her very own family..but the family home burned down and her world turned upside down.  The human family had to move on to some new digs and couldn't keep her or her two puppies so they brought her to us at THS.

PRECIOUS is only 3 years old.  She is a high energy girl - as most Jacks are - and she needs to be with an active family.  She gets along great with other dogs and loves people of all ages.  She loves attention and loves to get and give affection.  She would do best in a home where someone is around part of the day because she gets bored with no one to play with.  She would really love to be in a home with some other dogs to play with - AND someone home part of the day. 

Precious loves chew toys....Precious NEEDS chew toys...Precious MUST HAVE....just sayin'.   And just a little suggestion to keep your good shoes in the closet with the door closed - where they should be anyway. 

Precious would also love to have a big fenced back yard to run off some of her boundless energy and some kids to run with.  She is such a happy girl and if we could harness her energy and market it we would be sitting pretty.  If you already have a dog or two who like to play outside a lot then Precious is probably the girl for you....she will fit right in.

We know each of the animals entrusted to our care by name and we will be happy to tell you all about the personality and little quirks that make each animal so loved.   Our adoption fee for a dog is $100 and that covers all shots and vetting and spay/neuter.  Our animals are fully vetted before we send them off to their new family.
