Meet TYSON!!
Tyson is a 1 year old, 14 pound, neutered male terrier mix. He looks like a Cairn terrier or Norwich terrier blend.
Tyson and his friend Tallulah were found by a good Samaritan on a county road with no houses nearby. A truck was seen leaving the area and these two cuties were spotted. Likely dumped. He scooped them up to safety, and we took them into rescue. They have been acclimated to indoor living, and are ready to find their forever homes. They can be adopted together or separately
Tyson is very calm, pleasant, playful, and outgoing. He isn't loud or vocal, and does excellent in a crate. Tyson gets along with all the dogs in his foster home and would like another dog to play with. Like alot of terriers, he shows some interest in cats and may give chase, but has not attempted to hurt them. Tyson is mannerly and a joy to have around. He seems to pick up on new things quickly and would likely do well in a training class. He does his potty business outside when kept on a consistent schedule.
Tyson is heartworm negative, current on vaccinations and flea and heartworm preventive, and is micro-chipped. He comes with a health certificate to travel.
Tyson's preferred home has a secure fenced in yard he can play in supervised, another doggie playmate, and because he is active, no kids under 8 please.
Tyson is currently in a foster home in San Antonio TX and can be transported to your area once adopted. All adopters must meet requirements.
Tyson is available through Lytle Animal Allies. His adoption fee is $185, and transport fee to the East coast via Rescue Road Trips is $185.
