Meet Duffy! Unfortunately, Duffy's mom has a terminal illness, and she wanted to make sure Duffy got a great home before she passes, so she felt it best to surrender him to us. We promised her we will make sure Duffy goes to a GREAT forever home! Duffy is 5 years old, which is a perfect age for anyone who wants a really great dog with plenty of life left, but well past the destructive puppy phase!
Duffy is a male beagle mix (could be purebred, but we never guarantee breed mix!), fully vetted with all vaccines, is heartworm negative, has been neutered, and microchipped. He just went to the vet last month and was given a clean bill of health!
Duffy is living in a foster home which doubles as a doggy daycare center. His foster mom has young children, cats, and LOTS of other dogs around, and Duffy is great with everyone! She describes Duffy as "Sweet, snuggly, relaxed personality, happy to play or happy to just chill on the couch. Cats make Duffy a little nervous, but he is not mean, aggressive, and does not harass them or chase them. Just a genuinely nice guy, very laid back, and up for whatever happens to be going on around him."
Duffy weighs 30 lbs and is fully grown. He is fully house broken, crate trained, although he does not need to be crated. He walks well on a leash and rides well in a car.
