My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you are interested in OLLIE or in adopting a pup in general, the first step is an adoption application. Download an adoption application here
Please email the completed application to shelby.woofriver@yahoo.com
Please submit an application rather than an inquiry with no application attached.

OLLIE is too cute for just four photos. See more by copying and pasting the following link in your browser: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0Bzsb_wa95PS0U2hkbTAzRWpFR2s

Outstanding OLLIE has never met a stranger! This two year old hunk welcomes any human or doggie visitor with a smile and a tail wag. In addition to hanging on his home turf, he thinks away from home play dates are super cool. HE is the guy you can take anywhere!

In addition to being devastatingly handsome and friendly to the max, OLLIE is super smart (we call that a triple threat)! He knew not to potty inside without any teaching from us. We think this brainiac would excel at obedience or agility if you are in to that sort of thing. If not, it certainly isn't something he requires. He is more than content just hanging out at home with his foster mom and pup buddies. The one thing OLLIE does require is another live in dog friend. He is a social butterfly who is happiest with another pup around.

OLLIE keeps a smile on our faces with his silly personality. He also is always down to lay in bed and cuddle for ages. He is great in the car and would definitely enjoy accompanying you on a hike or a road trip. In addition to being fabulous with other doggies, Ollie is cat friendly! Seriously, this guy has it all.

OLLIE is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations including the H3N2/H3N8 canine influenza vaccine.
His $490 adoption fee includes his interstate health certificate and cost of transport to New England after he is adopted.

Please email the completed application to shelby.woofriver@yahoo.com. It typically takes us around 5 BUSINESS DAYS to initially process an application. We will reach out to you as soon as your application is processed. Thank you for your patience.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, they travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England, Nashville, and Knoxville adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport).

Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
