My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:


Oreo is a senior (or senior middle age) cat looking for a new forever home. She would love to be a lap cat and cuddle in bed with her human(s). She *loves* human attention and affection, but unfortunately I have developed bad allergies and can't provide her with those things. People who meet Oreo always love how excited she gets to meet new people who will give her scritches under her chin--I've always said that occasionally, she forgets that she isn't a dog. She also has very fine, soft fur.

I adopted her from the Hennepin County Humane Society 10 years ago. At the time, they guessed she was 5 years old based on her dentals, but vets she has met have always suspected she was younger than that. She has happily co-habitated with other cats before. I don't know how she would deal with living with dogs or kids.

If you would like an affectionate lap cat, Oreo is would be a wonderful cat for you.
