This litter of puppies was birthed on August 8th, by our amazing Momma Hazel in our foster home. Hazel was pulled from the Detroit Animal Care & Control pregnant and 10 days later she delivered her babies in a safe warm environment. She has 13 little pups that she nursed herself until they were 5 weeks old.. She is the real MVP and so loving and patient with her babies!!
Hazel is some sort of Terrier Mix but at only 45lbs she is a relatively small girl herself.. she has an amazing temperment and her puppies are equally adorable and very happy/healthy themselves!
At time of adoption the puppies will have had age appropriate Distemper vaccines, Bordetella, and have a negative fecal exam. They are microchipped and included in their $300 adoption fee is their spay/neuter which will be done at our vet in Sterling Heights. If you would like to use your own vet we can discuss during adoption based on location.
All puppies are cute and fun while they are little but please understand the need for us to properly place them and that they come with a lifetime of care/commitment and be prepared to show that. Daily exercise, socializing, structure and routine will be vital in their development.
Adoption Process: Anyone interested in meeting our adoptables must complete an online application, which is located on our website. Once the application is approved we will set up a meet and greet with the animal to ensure a good fit and then before adoption is complete we will schedule a home check to ensure a safe environment for the animal you are looking to adopt. We do not do on-the-spot adoptions and we do not adopt out animals by a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to fit everyone of our animals to the best match possible!
