My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mimosa and her littermates were found abandoned in rural KY and taken in by our friends there. Nursed back to health, Mimosa found herself as being the remaining kitty from her litter needing a home. Since adoptions are very slow in rural KY, we offered to bring Mimosa into our care & find her a home.

She is a very sweet cat who has been fostered with other kittens. She hasn't had exposure to dogs or children in her foster home. As you can see from the video, she likes being pet and would do well in a relaxed home. Mimosa is fostered in Marengo, OH.

MAWL's cats are spayed/neutered, leukemia/FIV-tested, dewormed, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccines. The cats we offer for adoption are usually the offspring of feral cats or house cats that have been abandoned by their former owners. Unless otherwise noted, our cats are available to inside homes only. We prefer to adopt our animals to residents of Ohio. An adoption donation of $75.00 helps to cover the veterinary fees.
