My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Laurel. I am a very unusual shorthaired female kitten born in foster care on October 11, 2017. I am a "black" calico, that is to say, I appear black, but my underbelly is splashed with tiger-orange and white. A little on my face too! I am polydactyl on my front feet, so I have lots and lots of toes! My mama was a pregnant stray brought in from the cold, otherwise my three siblings (Lotus, Lavender and Larkspur) and I would likely have been born outside. In foster care we were raised to enjoy kids, teens, dogs and cats. We are happy and healthy young'uns but of the four of us, I am the adventurous one. First to leave the nestbox, first to climb the gate out of the safe room; if you like the bold and fearless type, then I am the girl for you! I have been tested neg for feline diseases, had a clean fecal test and my first shot. My spay at 6 months is covered by my adoption fee. I eat well on a diet of both dry and canned kitten food. I am both litterbox- and crate-trained and ready to go to my very own home! Please pick me! (and one of my siblings to come with...)
