My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sophie was found as a stray in Elizabeth, NJ, and was put into the Elizabeth Shelter. She was scheduled to be euthanized due to lack of space (it's a very small municipal shelter) when we heard about her and saved her. Her owners never came to claim her, even though she was clearly recently groomed.

She's a very sweet, happy old girl. She doesn't run around much (but she will run a little), and is happy to sit at your feet and keep you company. She is housetrained, and likes to cuddle, and is very well behaved. It doesn't take much to make her very happy - just some love, a warm place to sleep, and some food.

Sophie would be perfect for a retiree or anyone who would like a less active, very sweet companion!
