My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We got asked to take on a ladies dogs because she is going blind and can no longer care for them. Rique is one she saved a few years ago from Mexico, he actually got transported here because he needed surgery on his leg. We are not really sure what happened to him for him to have lost his leg. He was living on the streets so it could have been him defending himself from another animal. hit by a vehicle or even shot. Like most dogs with 3 legs though, it does not slow him down. He did live with 2 small dogs and seems to be fine with them, bigger dogs he does not do well with. He would be great as the only dog too. He is fully vetted and micro chipped. He even has a passport from when he came here from Mexico. We were told he needs to be in a harness because of the surgery he had for his leg. Having a fenced in yard would be best for this boy. We believe he is a Schnauzer and something, really not sure whatever. He is about 5 years old and 50lbs. He is still very active even with his 3 legs.
