Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Xena has a 100% dachshund personality. She is willful, driven and has the bravado to take on the world. She loves to cuddle with you and loves to snuggle under the blankets, but she also has lots of energy and loves to run and play. She gets along well with other dogs and cats, but needs boundaries from her owner. She has a tendency to try and be the boss when it comes to other animals. Xena is house trained, but may try to avoid going outside in inclement weather and have an accident here or there. Xena would do best in a very well fenced yard, with no small openings or on a tie out. Come meet Xena at our next adoption event.

Special Animal Friends and Rescue, Inc. (SAFARI) is a non-profit, no-kill, foster based animal rescue. SAFARI is currently seeking foster parents, volunteers, and donation to fund the continued rescue of these deserving animals.
**Please note: SAFARI requires all applications to be submitted in person at an adoption event. All family members should be present for the application and the in-person interview with a member of our Adoption Approval Committee. All applications will require a home inspection prior to final approval.**
