Hi! My name is Prince, and I'm a 5-yr-old Black Cocker Spaniel (American).
My owner surrendered me because her grandson is allergic to me, but I'm a really good boy and just want a nice, loving home!
I like other dogs (see my picture, where I'm snuggling my friend Milo), but I would really rather have ALL of your attention!
I'll follow you everywhere you go... and quietly sit nearby, or better yet, in your lap! I just love to snuggle with my humans and get belly rubs. I like to play with toys, and love a nice chew toy or stick. I love it when my human pays attention to me and plays with me!
I also love to go for rides in the car - I'll sit nicely in the backseat and just try to get some sleep.
Being only 5, I'm pretty active, and love to run around and go for long walks. I would love a fenced-in backyard to play in! I'll come running when you call me.
I have a big personality, and love to dance and spin around when it's dinnertime, or when I know I was good and will get a treat! I love to make my people laugh!
I'm all up-to-date on shots, and am in good health - I even have good teeth and clean ears.
I haven't been around a lot of small children, so I don't know if I would like them or not. It would probably be best if they were either very well behaved, or if your kids were at least 10yrs old.
I don't bark for no reason, but I will let you know when someone rings the doorbell or I hear other dogs bark, and I will quiet down when you tell me to.
I'm a pretty small guy - I'm currently about 25lbs, and at a good weight, trim but not thin. I was pretty skinny when I came to Wigglebut (19lbs), but I've filled out nicely. I would be fat, if you let me - I LOVE food! So, I do need you to keep an eye on my weight, and not overfeed me.
