My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Callie was abandoned Twice that I know of. I live in a senior mobile home park. She came here a little over a year ago with a couple. They moved and while they took their dog, they left her behind. Another neighbor started feeding her and a couple of other cats until she was evicted and left them behind. Callie showed up on my porch, meowing so sadly and quite hoarsely. It was summer, and it was hot. I felt sorry for her even though I have two cats of my own. Before I brought her in the house I took her to the vet to make sure she didn't have anything contagious. The vet checked her over and did tests for feline aids, the Felv/FIV combo test, had shots for feline distemper, Rabies vaccination, de-fleaed and de wormed. She was already spayed. So I thought she was good to go. It's just not working out between her and my other two cats. I thought they would adjust after time, but it's getting worse rather than better. She's very affectionate, perfect for a one pet person.
