Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Birthday is March 14, 2011
We bought him on May 4, 2011
Sterilized on March 12, 2012
We bought him from a breeder named: Buckeye Wheaten’s in Zimmerman, Minnesota.
He is a purebred Wheaton Terrier.
PLEASE do research on this breed.
We live in Grand Rapids Minnesota, and we currently have the underground fencing. He needs a fenced yard. He loves to run, and will take off thinking its a game and run away from you if he gets out a fenced area. He has been getting cranky and growling when we discipline him, growling and snapping. Please, if you have children, i do not think he would be ok with them. Ivan would do good in a home with no other pets, and either no children or a home with older children who can respect a dogs boundaries. He has attacked our cat, our other dog and he stares at our smaller pets as if he wants to eat them. He has tried to snatch them while we hold them.
He is a very good mouser, very protective of the home and our family. He stands between our daughter and us at times to protect her, from what, i have no idea. He has been kenneled up to 8 hours at a time before with no issues. is potty trained and will let you know he has to go out.
Is very had to take on a walk. He pulls on the leash. We have started training on that before winter came, but its to cold to continue. He jumps on new people to the home, and will get in their face to sniff them out. I do not trust him with small kids. Hes fine if he comes to you, but if a child falls on him, or pulls hair, i dont trust him.
