My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Elle was born around the second week of September 2017 on the streets in San Gabriel Valley. After learning a litter of street kittens had been poisoned just a few houses down from her, a kind-hearted volunteer with The TNR Project began fostering Elle in her home.

Having spent the first 6-7 weeks of her life living outside with a cat colony in a rough industrial neighborhood, Elle is a very confident kitten who gets along well with other cats. She loves playtime with her person and her older foster mate Owl. Elle adjusts quickly to new environments, loud household noises and people and would be a great kitten for a first-time cat owner. She is quick to start purring once her person starts petting her and will give you the occasional “cat kiss” (nose-to-nose). Being Siamese, she can also be a little vocal when seeking your attention.

Elle would do well in any home environment, including a high traffic one, as long as her new person is able to spend some quality cuddle time with her each day. Since she is still a young kitten, she would also do well with another kitten or young cat companion to keep her company while you are away. Kittens do better in pairs!

Adoption Fee: $100

If you would like to welcome Elle into your home, please contact the Foster Caregiver Aisha with any and all questions. Then go to www.thetnrproject.org and click on Adoption Application.

THE ADOPTION APPLICATION: Please go to The TNR Project website to fill out an application: www.thetnrproject.org/adoption-application

THE ADOPTION FEE: The adoption fee covers the cost of the kitty’s spay/neuter surgery, FVCRP vaccinations, FELV/FIV testing, deworming, flea treatments, microchip and any medications required during foster care. The fee doesn’t even begin to cover the complete cost of foster care, which includes high quality wet and dry food, supplements and litter.

TWO-WEEK TRIAL PERIOD: Please note there is a 2-week trial period for adopting to make sure the foster is a good fit for your home and family.

ADOPTION PENDING: If you see "Adoption Pending" on a kitty, please don't be discouraged. Things happen, adoptions fall through, people change their minds and we'd love to have you as a back-up in case this happens. Please fill out an application and let us know you want to be on our wait list.

OUT ON TRIAL: This kitty is currently out on trial for two weeks (acclimation period) to make sure they are a purrfect fit with their potential adopter and any other pets in the family. At the end of the trial, this cat will either come back while the adopter makes a decision or they have found their forever home.

TRUE NO-KILL: Want to help us take our local shelters to "no-kill status"? Learn about TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return). The TNR Project rescues cats and kittens who are born or abandoned on the streets to starve, breed and suffer. We spay/neuter the adults and return them to their communities. The kittens are fostered and adopted into loving homes for a better life. We do not pull from shelters. We prevent cats and kittens from flooding shelters and rescues. For more information on TNR or to learn how you can help your community cats, please visit: www.thetnrproject.org and fill out a contact us/join us form or look for a group in your own community!

Save a stray, save a life. Thank you for rescuing — Big Kitty Love! > ^..^ <
