Zoey is 3 years old. She is a wonderful, quirky, loving little pug full of life. She is not your typical pug because she grew up with a black lab brother. She loves to swim and retrieve sticks from long deep lake swims, and needs plenty of exercise including a long walk (2+ miles) at least once a day. Zoey is very smart and understanding but needs a firm hand. She is trained using a vibrating (similar a cell phone vibrate, NOT a shock) training collar. She LOVES food and loves to play and go on trail walks in the woods. At night she cuddles up in your lab and sleeps soundly through the night. I have had such a joy raising her, but I am starting graduate school school soon. I will be moving into an apartment and will have long days at school. Zoey would have an unfair life, often alone with no access to the outdoors. This is no life for a dog. This is one of the hardest decisions I have made, but I'm determined to find her an excellent forever home that she will continue to thrive in.
