Hunter is a five month old energetic, lovable retriever mix. His mom is a golden retriever and his dad is a black labrador. He defitinely looks like a purebred black lab,the only indication of any golden in him is his slightly longer, wavier hair. Hunter is house broken and can complete basic commands like sit, lay down, leave it, etc. Like all puppies, Hunter requires lots of exercise and attention. He doesn't chew on much when he gets plenty of exercise, but can be pretty mischevious if he doesn't get the exercise he needs. While it pains us to rehome such a loving dog, the amount of exercise he requries is becoming too much for us with a toddler and a newborn on the way. We would like him placed in a home where he gets lots of exercise and attention. He is crate trained and sleeps in the house. He loves to cuddle but will chew on any toys, socks, etc. left around the house. He is used to going on 2 or 3 mile run/ walks every day.
