Vader is a lovely mellow purebred Black Lab whose owner passed away. He came in with Marley, though they aren't especially bonded. Vader is 6 years old and about 100 pounds.
From Vader's foster Mom, "He's the sweetest dog. He gets along with my two girls. Vader is full of energy, is always on patrol, loves a lot of attention, and has gravitated to my son, he wants to be where he’s at. He lets me know when he needs to go out and love to be rewarded when he comes in."
Vader has been well cared for during his lifetime and we have good vet records on him, he's had no major medical issues according to his records.
Vader is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines (Rabies, Distemper, Bordatella), has tested negative for heart-worms, had a recent negative fecal test, and is microchipped.

Happy Tails Rescue Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit foster-based rescue based in Northwest Indiana. We have no shelter, all of our animals are cared for in loving foster homes until their forever home match is found. All of our animals are fully vetted before adoption, including distemper, rabies, and bordatella vaccines, a heartworm test, fecal test, microchip, and are spayed/neutered. If you're interested in meeting one of our animals please fill out an application first. If approved we will then arrange a meet and greet. Happy Tails does not do same day adoptions because we do a short home visit to make sure our animals are being placed in safe environments.
