Ruby has been with our family since she was 12 weeks old, she’s now 9 years old. We got her from a family that had puppies and she’s a loving dog, super high energy and needs lots of attention and exercise, despite her small size. She loves to curl up on your lap or snuggle under the covers. She’s a great leash/harness walker. She is skittish around people and animals she doesn’t know, but once you spend time with her, she warms up and won’t leave your side. Same with other dogs and children. Not sure how she would do around cats...

We have 2 young toddlers and she is pretty patient with them. However I would recommend she go to a single, older, retired woman.

Up to date on all shots and checkups. Isnt on any medication. Full medical records available. We are trying to find her a better life- my husband and I both started traveling for work and combined with two kids in daycare, it doesn't leave much time for Ruby so she ends up in her crate much of the time. We would like her to have a better companion family as she really is sweet and just wants lots of love.
