My story

*NEEDS A YARD* NEEDS ANOTHER SMALL DOG* Hello - my name is Parisa and I am a very special girl! I am an eight-year-old female Terrier mix. I had a rough start in life living on the street with people being mean to me and then taken to the very scary shelter. But I am so happy I was rescued and brought to a loving foster home with 5 small dogs to play with and help me build my confidence. I am extremely scared and skittish with my humans at first, but over time have got so much better...But I still cannot be picked up. I will never be called a cuddlebug but I am a very loving and loyal girl that needs to be accepted for who I am now. I would do best in home with no children. My home must have a yard and a dog or two to play with that make me feel safe and some very patient humans that realize I am shy and cannot be picked up . It will take me some time to get comfortable and settle in, but I promise I am worth the wait!

We require an application, application approval, meet and greet, home check, adoption fee and a contract.

2 months -12 months: $400
1 year - 6 years $350
7 years+ - $300

Adoption fee includes :

Shots up to date of adoption, wellness exam, fecal test,
Spay/neuter, Micro-chip and any other medical needed.

We also require to stay first on the micro-chip info for life and have a life time return policy on all our rescue dogs adopted out.

Unfortunately, we do not adopt out of state under any circumstances. We recommend that you visit your local shelter or dog rescues in your area if you are looking to adopt.

I.C.A.R.E. is an all breed, no kill dog rescue. We rescue dogs at risk of being euthanized from shelters, abandoned, abused, and stray dogs. We also rescue many owner surrendered dogs; which are dogs that can no longer remain in their current homes due to financial or personal issues. I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue is dedicated to reducing the number of dogs that are euthanized in our shelters each and everyday. We focus on rescuing and rehabilitating them in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their permanent homes. We also focus on educating the public regarding specific breeds, rescue, and general information regarding the canine species. We are a 100% volunteer run and supported organization that cannot survive without the help of loving fosters, volunteers, and benefactors.
