This cutie likes to go by Luck!
Lucy was surrendered to a local animal control with a very common story, she belonged to a friend of one of my relatives who no longer wanted, then they gave her to somebody else, etc, etc...When we first met Lucy she was shaking in the back of her cage and there was a general fear among staff that she may become fear reactive. We sat with her for a bit and eventually she took a treat, continued to shake and wanted very little to do with me, so I left her. I returned a few days later and tried again, she was more receptive to the treats so we went outside. After about 10 minutes she became a completely different dog! She wanted to play and wanted to love me, and of course we feel in love with her, thus she became a Hedd Mutter.
At first we thought she was a bit older, but once we were able to get a good look at her she is just a baby, a big baby but definitely under a year old, maybe 10 months. She may even have a little bit of growing left. She is absolutely wonderful, she plays nice, takes treats nice and is house trained. Lucy is working on her basics which she is really good at learning fast.
