My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to Tweety Bird! This handsome cat is roughly two years old, Felv/FIV and parasite negative, Rabies and FVRCP vaccinated, neutered, and declawed. Overall, he is very well-rounded, enjoying playtime and naptime with equal enthusiasm. He does very well with other cats, and would do be happy in most environments.

Unfortunately, Tweety absolutely needs to live in a home without any young children. He was previously adopted by a family with three children, and it was discovered that he is very easily over-stimulated in this environment, which often led to unwanted play biting. This behavior was never once aggressive or nasty. At first, it was managed with close supervision, but eventually, the noise and movement of the children combined with his underlying stress was enough to provoke this behavior. Eventually, his previous family decided it was time to let Tweety find a better home, and he came back to live with us.

We hope you will not let this stop you from considering him, though! Tweety is a very sweet cat, and seems to be completely unfazed by his change in environment. He began to seek out affection almost immediately, and otherwise seems unchanged!
