Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mr. Harvey was found wandering the streets in the cold. Sadly (and inexplicably) he was never looked for by his previous people. This friendly teddy bear came to us a bit scared and quite filthy but very rapidly his true nature has come to the forefront. Harvey is loving and playful and made a quick best friend with our other foster dog Abe. All cleaned up this eligible bachelor is quite handsome and so fluffy. He is well aware of this as evident by his confident strut around the house as if saying "Look at me! Look at me! Boy am i a catch!" Harvey loves to play and really enjoys laying on your lap and being cuddled. The deep look he gives you right in your eyes (and the look of contentment) while laying on your chest is truly heartwarming. I'm honored to be a small help in this gentle souls path in life. Harvey would thrive in an active house with possibly another dog friend and would love to have some playful young human peers. And for the Star Wars fans out there the more I get to know him I wonder if he is Wookie mixed with Ewok (but is likely just a remarkably handsome Lhasa Apso!) lol
Harvey's adoption fee is $350.
Harvey is about 22lb and around 3 years old. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines (Rabies, Distemper, and Bordatella), had a negative fecal test, and is microchipped.

Happy Tails Rescue Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit foster-based rescue based in Northwest Indiana. We have no shelter, all of our animals are cared for in loving foster homes until their forever home match is found. All of our animals are fully vetted before adoption, including distemper, rabies, and bordatella vaccines, a heartworm test, fecal test, microchip, and are spayed/neutered. If you're interested in meeting one of our animals please fill out an application first. If approved we will then arrange a meet and greet. Happy Tails does not do same day adoptions because we do a short home visit to make sure our animals are being placed in safe environments.
