Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We live out in the country and people dump animals all the time, Pumpkin is a stray that wandered up one day. My daughter has severe pet allergies and her allergist has said no indoor pets, we can keep him in an isolated room for a time but the shorter that time the better.
He is a very sweet laid back playful kitty and he is beautiful! His top coat is a creamy light orange and his undercoat is snow white, he's soft to boot. He does like other cats but the vet recommend he be in a single cat home because he tested FIV (Feline Immuno Deficiency Virus) which is contagious to other cats, but studies show only through a serious bite. Some people choose to home FIV cats with other cats and don't have any problems. FIV basically means he may be more susceptible to catching illnesses than another cat but his immune system is just as strong as any other cat. I strongly encourage doing your own research into FIV cats, you may be surprised at the results, many live long healthy normal lives.
He also has a limp because at one point he was possibly shot and his left elbow is shattered. We took him to a vet for the limp and an x-ray showed metal fragments. He does not appear to be in any pain however, the injury has completely healed, but it can't be fixed.
