My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Madison is from a puppy mill and has lived her whole life in a cage used for breeding. She is about 5 or 6 years old from what we can tell with her teeth. She maybe younger as the diet they put them on is terrible and makes their teeth worse. She is a Westie and is about 15lbs. She will need work with house training, more like having a puppy really. She has no clue of a leash and we have started working with her on that, a harness is better for a dog like her. She is fixed, current on all shots, micro chipped, heartworm negative, will get a dental next week and on monthly prevention. She will need someone to be patient with her as she has no clue what love is as she has never had someone care for her as a family member. We have already seen a big difference in her since we have started working with her and loving on her. She has never once shown any kind of aggression at all. She is ready to actually live and have a new life. Having a fenced in yard might be best for her because of her not knowing a leash for right now. When we got her she was growling at the other dogs and we thought it ight just be down to stress. She is still growling at other dogs, not gone after them though. We think with the life she had with being forced on might have been a toll on her and would prefer being the only dog.
