DOB 11/16/2017
Mash is a black short hair pup with white on his chest and paws. We believe he is a border collie and lab mix, about 8 weeks old.
This little boy loves attention. When it’s quiet time he also likes cuddling and taking lap naps.
When he plays he loves to run and hop. He is a lover and shows it when your playing with him and having fun. Mash lives with children and he loves playing with them. His favorite game to play is tug of war and he really likes toys that squeak. Mash needs practice walking on a leash. He is working on his potty training and will need to keep working on this.
If you are interested in Mash, he will require someone who is home most of the day to continue his training. If you are gone more than a few hours per day please consider a teenager or adult.

A Journey Home is a 501c3, all foster/volunteer based rescue. Our rescues are living with families in their homes. We do not have a shelter.
If you are interested in adopting, email ajourneyhomedogrescue@gmail.com to request an application or visit our website www.ajourneyhomedogrescue.org to fill out an application. After your application has been received and given a preliminary approval, you will be contacted by an adoption coordinator who will conduct a phone interview. Final approval will be granted following a successful meet and greet with the entire family. Adopter must be at least 21 yrs old.
A Journey Home does not do out-of-state adoptions on unaltered puppies. Spay/neuter surgery is not done on puppies under 6 months of age. If adopting a puppy under the age of 6 months, we require that the adopter schedules the spay/neuter at our participating vet clinic when age appropriate.
Our standard adoption fee is $300, payable by cash or check. The fee includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative, a free vet visit at one of our participating clinics, and micro-chipping.
First time pet owners will be required to sign up for a puppy/training class at a place of their choice. There will be an additional $100 added to your adoption fee, which will be refunded to you upon proof the class was completed.
