My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:


Nellie is a very good dog, especially for her age. She was born on July 29, 2017 so she is almost 6 months old. She weighs over 50 pounds already. Nellie has a great attitude and great demeanor. She doesn't bark much so we hung a bell by the front door. When she needs to go outside, she rings the bell. We have a 1/2 acre lot without any fencing, but she never wanders. She really is a good dog. We just can't have a dog this big. It's too much for us to handle.

Nellie was given to my mother as a gift. She was told that Nellie was a Blue Healer mix and that's where she got her markings. Mom is not in very good health and having a puppy around was just too much for her, so I agreed to bring her home with us. At 4 months, she was already 40 lbs and we figured out that she is a Blue Merle Great Dane mix (with what, I don't know). I expect she is going to weigh around 130-140 lbs when she is full grown and that is just too big for our little house.
