My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Foxy 1 1/2 yr old female Papillion King Charles spaniel 20 lbs
Spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped. Adoption fee $250.00
Foxy prefers to be an only dog in the home so she can be the star and get all the attention & love she craves so much. Children over the age of 12

Foxy is definitely, well, foxy! She’s a beautiful redhead with long silky hair. With her delicate features and slender frame, she gets lots of attention from admirers, that’s for sure! Although a little intimidated by strangers, Foxy is extremely sweet, cuddly and affectionate with her people. She loves to be held close and stroked while you talk softly to her. She’s a great lap dog and will snuggle right next to you to watch movies; if you share your popcorn with her, all the better!
She definitely needs a fenced in yard as she’s likes to keep in shape; she’s not hyperactive but she does enjoy the ability to run and explore.
Foxy has done pretty well on potty training; she just needs a little more time to completely grasp it.
Our girl’s only perceivable fault is that when she’s on a leash, she becomes very reactive to other dogs. Off leash she is fine with them. Some training has been done with her and she improved but for this reason we aren’t recommending her as an apartment dog. Because of her initial shyness with new people, we recommend no children under 12 years as they might be stressful for her. Let us know if you’d like to adopt this sweetheart of a dog!

If you are interested in adopting, the first step before a meet and greet is set up is to fill out an adoption application. One can be found at www.waldosmuttleycrew.org
