My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Frank and I'm a fabulous find!! I'm about 5 yrs., VERY, VERY sweet, and just waiting for you to take me home. I love to ride in the car, walk EXCELLENTLY on leash, and am SUPER DUPER affectionate! I love everyone! I'm a pretty low-maintenance boy and would do fine at home by myself while you're at work. I really love my people and will hang out quietly next to you.

Frank is a wonderful dog. He came from a high kill CA shelter and they were overloaded so we took him in here. He is non-destructive, doesn't bark, and is happiest just being with you. He LOVES to go on walks and he is a DREAM dog to walk on leash. Perfect!!

He has met several dogs of various shapes and sizes here, small and big, and did very well with all. However, he does come on strong when initially meeting, and needs to be introduced correctly. He doesn't like super rowdy dogs, so he's not a dog park candidate. He loves girls and mellow boys best! He loves to be toweled off and after he walks, lies down and promptly falls asleep, snoring away!

Frank has a bad habit that we are diligently working on. He attaches with his human and then will sometimes growl at others when they come into that area. He instantly stops when you correct him, but because of this, we feel a home with older children would be best. He loves kids and is very good with them, but any potential adopter would have to continue working with this issue.

Frank is about 60 lbs., and working on losing a few lbs. He's kind of a low-rider, but a solid little tank of pure love! He is UTD on all vacs, microchipped, neutered, and crate trained.

Frank truly is a fabulous boy, easy-peasy, quiet, and totally fine being left on his own. He's non-destructive and when around people, settles right down next to you wherever you are. We think he would love to be your couch buddy too. This is one super nice boy!!

He is super cute too - a smiling, happy little Buddha dog! He's extremely affectionate but not needy. Come and meet him - you will fall in love instantly.
