My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Socks, and I'm an ultra-sweet, affectionate brown tabby with white DSH gal who was born in January 2012. Don't you just love my gigantic celadon green eyes? I'm beautifully marked with a splash of white on my muzzle and white bib, tummy, mittens, and boots.
My foster meowmy says that I'm one of the sweetest cats she's ever met! Believe me, it's reciprocal: I love my foster meowmy! I haven't been around kids, but as long as the other cats and resident dog in my foster home give me some space, I'm fine with them.
I was rescued from an apartment complex parking lot, where I had been living paw-to-mouth until my future foster meowmy rescued me and brought me inside to safety. It was a good thing that I was spayed right away because the vet found a mummified kitten embryo in my uterus. Yikes! It was very painful, and my uterus was infected. If left unattended, that could've become even more problematic, but I'm fine now! Thank heavens for small miracles!
I'm so ecstatic that I kissed my dumpster-diving days good-bye because the food and water bowls are brimming full in my loving, cozy foster home. Man, I can chow down on the wet food that's served to me! And I love relaxing on the cat tree as well as using the scratching posts provided. (I have perfect scratching manners!)
Now that my hardscrabble life is behind me, I'm ready for a home of my very own. Won't you arrange to meet me today so I can gaze at you with my big saucer eyes? We can start writing the new chapter in our lives together.
Socks is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for her indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted. Her adoption fee is $100, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Please click the contact button if you are interested in Socks, and we can let you know exactly where you can meet her.
