Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Miss Money Penny is approx 4 years and 38 lbs. She is a beautiful shaggy dog, so we actually did a DNA test on her. She is a mix of Old English Sheepdog and poodle . Unfortunately, Miss Money Penny needs a new home.. She is in a home with an older couple in Athens New york, who do not have a fenced in yard and she keeps escaping. They are too elderly to take care of her properly and she must have a yard where she can run and play with a fence at least 5 ft high she can scale a 4 ft fence very easily..
From her previous adopter:
Meet Miss Moneypenny! She’s a lovable girl who would love to have a forever home with one or two adults and perhaps another dog for company. She adores exploring a fenced-in yard, snuggling with you on the coach while watching TV, playing with her toys, having daily belly rubs, and going for walks. Penny did very well in her obedience class and remembers what she learned. She is food-driven which makes it easy to train her. When Penny is on leash, she is aggressive with other dogs that that walk in her territory so she’ll need lots more help with this. She would do better in a fenced yard where she can play at her leisure. She is noisy when meeting new people but once they’ve given her a treat or two, she becomes a best friend. She’s house-broken and crate trained. Penny is ready for a forever home and hopes you think she’s the girl for you.
Our rescue requires an experienced adopter for Miss Money Penny.. and no children under the age of 10 years She did test positive for heart worms and has been treated with the recommended series of shots. she will need to be kept on a monthly heartworm preventative.
