My story

Born in March of 2016, this 65 pound boy is very special. He really doesn't like to be touched very much even though he likes to be with you. He enjoys playing with other dogs, especially the girls. Once he is on a leash Perseus does well and loves to go for long walks. He is easily intimidated by people and needs a kind person who doesn't require an instant cuddle pup. He would be happy to just hang out and let his big size look intimidating, even if he would probably run the other way if someone actually came after him. But even though he is a little shy, Perseus deserves an opportunity to be happy. Won't you open your heart and give this sweet boy a chance and make him a part of your life.

More about this rescue

Formed in 2008, Cinderella Pet Rescue was established to rescue animals from abuse, neglect and abandonment and to help prepare the for adoption. Additionally CPR promotes spay/neuter to reduce the serious homeless pet crisis in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. An all volunteer organization, there are normally between 55 and 65 dogs at our no-kill shelter as well as a couple dozen cats. Even more pets are placed in foster homes in preparation for adoption. Not funded by anyone, Cinderella Pet Rescue counts on donations and fundraisers to support the needs of the animals in care, from food to veterinary treatment. More volunteers and foster homes are always needed.
