My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:


I rescued this cat as a very young kitten. We named her Mike mistakenly thinking she was a male, and we couldn’t shake the name when we found out that he was a she!

My daughter loves cats, and we couldn’t wait for them to bond. But Mike has not been very kind to our little girl who is now 4. Before getting her front paws declawed, Mike would scratch my daughter often, but she still loved this kitty. Mike continues to bite my daughter when unprovoked. She gets along well with our large dog. I haven’t seen her with other cats, but I think she would enjoy them.

She is high energy at times and loves to chase mouse toys. I think she would be a great addition to a home with older kids (12+). She certainly picks a favorite person (that is me in our house - which makes this so difficult).
