Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bugsy (A1690617) is a 65-lb, 6 year old Shar Pei mix who was brought to the Los Angeles Animal Services East Valley Shelter as a stray in need of medical attention. The shelter staff and foster volunteers brought him back to good health and he is currently in foster and available for adoption through the shelter.
Bugsy is happiest taking a nap next to people he loves, going on neighborhood walks and jogs, and sniffing out exciting smells in the grass. He is goofy and spontaneous with play and can create his own fun with a plush toy.
Bugsy is completely house trained and knows basic commands. He trusts and bonds strongly with his family showing them his goofy personality, but is initially hesitant of strangers. With proper introduction, he feels comfortable quickly.
Bugsy was successful in play group at the shelter with similarly sized dogs, but he loves to chase and may not do well in a home with most cats.
Bugsy does need eye drops twice a day and may require routine treatment for allergies.
