Meet Cecilia!
Cecilia (AKA Cece) is a stocky young girl with a biiiiig personality. Cece was an owner surrender at Chicago Animal Care and Control because her owner no longer had the time to care for a dog. Unfortunately, Cece had no prior training – the poor girl didn’t even know what a leash was. That’s where Players for Pits stepped in. With lots of consistent, daily training, she is becoming the dog we all know she can be. In the time she’s been with us, we’ve learned so much about her and how much she loves learning about the world around her!
Cece loves other dogs and is very playful with them! There’s a resident cat in Cece’s foster home that she tries to play with often, even if the cat isn’t into it ;) Cece likes the cat and they get along well. She does really well with older, bigger children. Teenagers are her favorite. Younger kids can be loud and make her a little scared, but she really thrives with older children and adults. Cece is crate-trained and house broken.
Cece loves to run and play a lot. She is a very active, outdoorsy kind of dog. If you’re a runner, she may just be your girl! We think she would make an amazing hiking buddy. She is very silly and likes to make her foster family laugh all of the time. Plus, she’d really love another dog to live with, so if you already have a dog, this is a big plus in Cece world! Though we do believe she would do great as an only dog as well.
