My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Yippee!!! Scout has been adopted. She is spending her days with another JR and is having a blast!

Scout is a young (poss 2 yrs old at most), female Long Wirehaired Parsons JR Terrier. She weighs about 20 lbs, is spayed and appears to be good with other dogs. Scout comes from what seems like an abusive past and is sensitive to people making sudden movements around her. Once you gain her trust, she is a sweet little girl who loves to sleep on your feet. Although she is slowly getting over her fears, Scout is not suitable for a home with children. Due to her sensitivity to sudden movements she would definitely do better in an adult home.

Scout walks nicely on leash, is crate trained, house trained and quiet. Unlike most jrt's, she is calm in the house and isn't too much of a barker. She gets along well with her foster brother and sisters. She was tested with the shelter cat before she came into our care and did ok, but would likely need some time to get used to living with a feline brother or sister. Scout will need to attend obedience training so she knows what is expected of her. For an application please email us at crossourpaws@yahoo.ca.
