My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We have another beautiful rottweiler boy looking for his forever home. Meet Bowser. He is estimated to be between 4-6 years old. Don't let the grey muzzle fool you ... he acts and plays like a 3 or 4 year old. We were thrilled to be able to help him from a high-kill shelter, thanks to a loving and caring foster family. Here is a little about Bowser from his foster mom:

Bowser! He's a clumsy but playful Rottweiler that was saved from death row. He knows not how big he actually is, with that being said he's as gentle as a gentle giant can be. He loves the cold and warm weather alike, especially if it includes a ball to fetch. He will destroy any toy with stuffing or squeaker in it and loves to chew bones.

He's very gentle with his furry foster sisters and brothers, unless there's a ball present. He will plow anything over that's in his way if he is running after a ball so be warned.

He has great manners when dinner is being served and will wait patiently until he gets the ok to eat.

Bowser has a great recall and is usually left off leash when we are outside. He never wanders too far from his human friends. When it's time to relax he will sleep by your side on the couch or on his dog bed, at night time he sleeps on his bed in our bedroom. Bowser is a big boy at 116 lbs but he has lost 6lbs since in our care. We have him on Acana and a dollop of can food for taste. Bowser is a really great dog that would be great for hiking, jogs and camping. He loves to nibble kiss - meaning he gives you a little nibble in between kisses when he's super excited. He’s also very demanding as he wants to be touching you when he's bored and will sometime be relentless when he wants attention. But if your stern he will listen and go lay down.

He knows all the basic commands and is a complete gentleman when left in the house while at work. I have not put him in a crate as I don't see it to be necessary. Bowser is a great dog and would be the perfect addition to any home. We would like to see him in a home with older children (10+) as he is unaware of his size.
