My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sophie came to live with us November 4th as a stray. We took her in to our home to keep her from being sent to the animal shelter not knowing she was pregnant. She had six puppies on November 13th. We took care of her and the puppies and were able to place the puppies in other homes. Sophie is a sweet dog that loves to run and play during the day and loves to snuggle on the couch at night. She alerts us whenever anyone is near our house, but has never hurt a stranger.

We are surrendering Sophie because our lives are very busy. I have 3 kids that are involved in gymnastics, basketball and football year round. I am a school teacher and my husband is a fireman and we both have a stressful schedule at times. Our backyard is not fenced so we have to keep Sophie on a leash at all times in our neighborhood. We feel that Sophie deserves a better life than being cooped up in a house all day long. She needs to run and play and be happy.
