My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Nelson and I'm approx 3 years old. I want to tell you about myself.
I'm very sweet, loving and affectionate boy who loves attention from my human friends. I also like to
have belly rubs. I love to give you Kisses. I know how to sit and shake. I love to go on
walks and hiking. I like to play ball or with any toy that you allow me to play with. I can also be very
laid back. I take food and treats gently, sometimes you just have to remind me because I get excited
with treats, and may take them a little hard.I love to play with other dogs. I don't know at this time if I like small dogs or cats since I haven't been around them before.

I haven't been lucky yet to be around any small children, but maybe I could meet some children one
day. I wanted to also let you know that I do ride in the car very well and I know how to use the doggy door,
I walk well on a leash. I am also potty and crate trained.

I look for approval from my foster parents. They know I'm a very good boy! I just like to make sure
that they see me doing a great job of listening to them. Sometimes I like to nibble when I get excited,
and they tell me I can't do that. I listen very well when I'm told not to do something.

I'm looking for my forever home that will love me and teach me new things, take me on walks and
play with me.

I'm a medium size boy weighing about 55 pounds. I'm healthy and a very happy boy!!
