Lilly's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Lilly's Story...
Lilly is a sweet and loving companion. She loves to lounge around on the
couch and follow you around the house. She is about 5 years old and weighs
about 40lbs. She doesn't care much for cats, but she gets along great with
other dogs (small and large). Lilly stays doesn't need to be crated during
the day, she stays in the kitchen while her foster mom and dad are at work.
As long as she has a comfy doggie bed and some nyla bones, she is content.
Lilly is slightly heartworm positive, so it will be very important for her
adoptive parents to give her heartgaurd every month and follow up with their
vet every 6mo for a checkup. For more information on Lilly, please email
erik@likenessweb.com.

Also, in sending your note to the Contact Person, be sure to include
information about yourself, family, home, yard, fence, other pets, work
situation, and pet accommodations. This information will help us make the
best match between you and one of our dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lilly, a Kingwood Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound for sale in Kingwood, or seeking a Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Kingwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kingwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kingwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound breeders who help with Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kingwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
