My story

Hi, I'm Zoe. I'm a wild child. I have trust issues, so I tend to swat and bite. I don't usually hurt anyone. I'm trying really hard to trust, and I'm getting better. I'm about 5 years old, but have the energy of a kitten. I tolerate other animals, but would like to live in a house with maybe 1 or 2. I'm not really a snuggly girl, I like to do my own thing. Who knows, maybe in time that will change. I'm just looking for someone who wants to give me a chance.

Why adoption is a great option

Zoe, a Burton Calico cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Burton, or seeking a Calico cat from a breeder in Burton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Burton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Burton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Burton paves the way for another one to be saved.
