Here's what the humans have to say about me:
River is a Dogue de Bordeaux that was owner surrender from a bad situation. Despite it all, she is a very sweet and lovable dog! She is house trained, crate trained, leash trained, up-to-date on all vaccinations, and spayed. She is underweight, but gaining weight slowly. She gets spurts of energy, but overall prefers to sleep a lot. She shouldn't be adopted to a family that is looking for a playmate for their dog because even though she is fine with other dogs, she is not playful because she prefers to nap. She is fine with children, but will do best with older children because she is not really a playmate. Her energy level is low, she deserves it after her previous life, except for burst of energy in the morning or around feeding times. She can be shy at first. She just craves loving and taking long naps! She would be fine to take on short walks and hikes. She is a large breed dog, even though she is on the petite side, so please do your research on her breed before inquiring.
