My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wiley loves you already!

Meet what one can describe as puppy perfection! Wiley is a 6mo, 20lb, Lab Mix. He loves other dogs, short walks, playing with his 80-pound foster brother and peanut butter treats. Wiley is an empathic snuggle bear. He will greet you with those eyes and sit his soft scruffy self in your lap for the night. He longs to watch Animal Planet with his foster mom. This little boy loves every human he meets.

He is currently working on his house training skills and learning "sit", and "paw". Wiley is crate trained already and likes to play with stuffed animals. Wiley is longing to find his forever home, is it yours?

Wiley’s adoption fee is $300 and he is being fostered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Because all our Cupids are fostered in private homes, an approved application MUST be on file before proceeding with a meet-and-greet. The online application can be found at http://www.caninecupids.org/adopt-.html.

Our Thoughts on Visual Breed Identification
Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable. For most of our adoptable Cupids we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We think it’s most important is to get to know each dog as an individual! We then do our best to describe each of our adoptable Cupids based on their personalities in order to determine whether they’ll make good companions based on prospective adopters’ lifestyles. Dog behavior is not exclusive to breed — it’s a complex mix of nature and nurture.
